Metodología

To do this, it will be essential to use methodological ethnographic and qualitative tools that will provide a richer and more complex approach to the everyday life of citizens in relation to their practices and innovative initiatives around the consume and reuse of technology. As a research model and method, a comprehensive qualitative research focuses on the study and analysis of perceptions, meanings and everyday practices of people in certain contexts, from observational, descriptive, interpretive and understanding tasks. This kind of methodology allows to uncover the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs used in social interaction, and how these aspects regulate practices. And although this type of approach requires intensive information’s treatment and does not allow universalizing of results, it enables a deeper understanding and interpretation of an increased explanatory power. This is possible mainly because the use of qualitative methods has as a main feature, the analysis and interpretation of the meaning that people give to their actions, the actions of others and their environments.

In order to operationalize our research objectives as reflected in the work planning, we’ll use the following methodological tools during the project’s phases:
