Main objective: To analyse how innovative and creative informal practices carried out by lay citizens in e-waste may become potential experting processes to democratize technological knowledge’s production and public politics.
a) To explore and analysing, from qualitative and ethnographic approaches, initiatives and innovative experiences carried out by lay citizens to reduce, reuse and recycle hardware and other e-waste.
b) To analyse the political and legal regulatory framework at the European and State level, about e-waste.
c) To explore the psychosocial factors, perceptions and meanings involved in technological consumption by citizenship and their treatment of e-waste.
d) To evaluate the social, political and ecological potential effects of lay citizens’ innovative knowledge on e-waste politics.
e) To propose a series of empirical and integral policies and measures for a suitable use and treatment of e-waste.
